Refund Policy

At Violet Brilliance, every piece is handcrafted specifically for you using premium materials and exceptional craftsmanship. Because each order is made to order, we encourage customers to carefully review all product details before placing an order.

Order Cancellation

You may request to cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it.

After 24 hours, production may have already begun. If a cancellation request is approved after this period, the following cancellation fees will apply:

  • 25% cancellation fee for Lab-Grown Diamond jewelry

These fees help cover design work, material sourcing, production, and administrative costs already incurred.

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

30 Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return window from the date your order is delivered.

To qualify for a return, your item must:

  • Be unworn and unused
  • Be in its original condition
  • Include all original packaging, certificates, and accessories
  • Include proof of purchase

Before sending any item back, please contact our Customer Care team to obtain return authorization.

Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Restocking Fees

Since every Violet Brilliance piece is handcrafted, inspected, polished, and prepared individually, approved returns are subject to the following restocking fees:

  • 25% for Lab-Grown Diamond jewelry

These fees cover professional inspection, polishing, resizing (when applicable), refinishing, quality control, and restocking.

If a returned item shows signs of wear, damage, alteration, engraving removal, missing components, or requires significant restoration before resale, an additional fee may apply based on the condition of the returned jewelry.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or incorrect:

  • Custom-designed jewelry
  • Personalized or engraved items
  • Made-to-order eternity bands
  • Special order items
  • Clearance or final sale products
  • Items purchased during promotional or seasonal sale events
  • Jewelry showing signs of wear, misuse, accidental damage, or unauthorized repairs
  • Products altered or resized by any jeweler other than Violet Brilliance

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange your ring for another size or style, we are happy to assist.

Exchange requests must be made within 30 days of delivery.

Approved exchanges are subject to:

  • 20% exchange/restocking fee deducted from the original purchase amount.
  • The remaining balance will be applied toward your replacement purchase.
  • Any price difference resulting from product selection, gold market fluctuations, or diamond/moissanite pricing must be paid by the customer.

Each jewelry piece is eligible for one exchange only.

Damaged, Incorrect or Defective Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If your order arrives:

  • damaged,
  • defective,
  • missing components, or
  • incorrect,

please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the item and packaging.

We will evaluate the issue promptly and provide an appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, or exchange.

Refund Initiated

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval of your refund.

If approved:

  • Your refund will be issued to your original payment method.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Restocking fees and applicable deductions will be applied before processing your refund.
  • Processing times vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.

Ring Resizing Service

A perfect fit is important, and we are pleased to offer professional ring resizing.

Resizing Guidelines

Most rings can be resized:

  • Up to one full size larger, or
  • Up to one full size smaller

Requests beyond this range may compromise the structural integrity of the ring and therefore cannot be accommodated.

Rings That Cannot Be Resized

Certain ring styles cannot be resized, including:

  • Full eternity bands
  • Rings featuring diamonds or gemstones around the entire shank
  • Certain intricate designer settings

When resizing is not possible, we may recommend an exchange for the correct size under our exchange policy.

Ring Replacement Instead of Resizing

In some cases, rather than resizing your original ring, Violet Brilliance may craft an entirely new ring in your correct size.

This may occur when:

  • A replacement provides a faster turnaround time.
  • Resizing would compromise the design or structural integrity.
  • The ring features a plain metal band that can be recreated more efficiently.

If this option is recommended, our team will contact you before proceeding.

Return Shipping Charges

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs both way if they want to exchange or resize.

For your protection, we strongly recommend:

  • Fully insuring your shipment
  • Using a traceable courier service
  • Retaining proof of shipment

Violet Brilliance cannot be held responsible for returns lost or damaged during transit.

International customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and shipping charges associated with returns or exchanges.

If your jewelry requires repair, please contact our Customer Care team before sending your item.

Upon receiving your jewelry, our repair specialists will:

  • Inspect the item
  • Document its current condition
  • Prepare a repair assessment
  • Share the repair details with you when necessary

Warranty-covered repairs may include:

  • Stone replacement or resetting
  • Prong rebuilding or replacement
  • Setting repair or replacement
  • Band reinforcement
  • Ring resizing (where applicable)

If additional repairs fall outside our warranty coverage, we will provide a quotation before any work begins.

Repair work will only proceed after your approval for non-warranty services.

Our typical repair turnaround time is approximately 2–3 weeks from the date we receive your jewelry.

Complex repairs, custom work, or gemstone sourcing may require additional time.
