At Violet Brilliance, we take immense pride in the quality, craftsmanship, and durability of every piece we create. That's why we proudly offer a Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects on all of our jewelry.
This warranty reflects our commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and your long-term satisfaction. As the original purchaser, you can shop with confidence knowing that we're here to support you for as long as you own your jewelry.
To help preserve the beauty and integrity of your piece, we recommend having your jewelry professionally cleaned and inspected at least once every 12 months. You are welcome to send your jewelry to us at any time for cleaning, inspection, or servicing to ensure it continues to sparkle beautifully and remains in excellent condition.
What Our Lifetime Warranty Covers
Our Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal wear, including:
- Loose prongs caused by manufacturing defects
- Faulty clasps or closures
- Defective solder joints
- Manufacturing-related setting issues
- Structural defects resulting from the original craftsmanship
If your jewelry experiences a covered manufacturing defect, we will repair it in accordance with the terms of this warranty.
Repair Policy
Manufacturing defects are repaired free of charge during the first year from the date of delivery.
After the first year, eligible repairs may be subject to a reasonable labor and/or material fee depending on the nature of the repair. We will always inform you of any applicable charges before proceeding.
Please note the following warranty limitations
Lost Center Stones
Our warranty does not cover the replacement of lost center stones or focal gemstones.
Although every piece is thoroughly inspected before shipment, gemstones may become loose over time due to accidental impact or everyday wear. We recommend having your jewelry inspected annually and obtaining independent jewelry insurance for valuable pieces.
One-of-a-Kind Gemstones
Many of our jewelry designs feature unique or one-of-a-kind gemstones.
If one of these gemstones becomes damaged and an identical replacement is unavailable, we will source the closest possible alternative of comparable quality. Due to the natural characteristics of gemstones, slight variations in color, pattern, and appearance may occur.
Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with inspections, cleanings, repairs, resizing services, and warranty claims.
We strongly recommend using a fully insured and trackable shipping service, as Violet Brilliance is not responsible for jewelry lost, stolen, or damaged while in transit to or from our workshop.
Ring Resizing
Finding the perfect fit is important, which is why we offer one complimentary ring resizing within 30 days of delivery for eligible rings.
After 30 days, we continue to offer professional resizing services at a reasonable cost.
Resizing Limitations
- Rings may be resized up or down by a maximum of one full size.
- Resizing beyond one full size may compromise the structural integrity or appearance of the ring and therefore cannot be accommodated.
Rings That Cannot Be Resized
The following ring styles are generally not eligible for resizing:
- Full eternity rings
- Tension-set rings
- Certain intricate or designer settings
- Rings that our jewelers determine cannot be safely resized
If resizing is not possible, we will gladly discuss exchange or replacement options whenever available.
Plain Gold Bands
For certain plain gold bands without gemstones, we may recommend crafting a new ring in the correct size rather than resizing the existing one. This helps preserve the strength, beauty, and long-term durability of the piece.
Warranty Exclusions
Our Lifetime Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, or worn finishes
- Bent rings caused by excessive force
- Lost or stolen jewelry
- Lost gemstones resulting from accidental damage or impact
- Damage caused by chemicals, harsh cleaning products, or extreme temperatures
- Damage resulting from improper storage or misuse
- Intentional damage or neglect
- Cosmetic wear that naturally occurs with everyday use
- Any repair, resizing, alteration, engraving, stone replacement, or modification performed by anyone other than Violet Brilliance or our authorized jewelers will immediately void this Lifetime Warranty.
